Helsinki International Horse Show, held in October, is a pioneer in its field once again. International Federation for Equesterian Sports (FEI) Stewards ensure that the welfare of the horses is respected at the event. The Stewards will receive high quality riding helmets to be used at the event. The helmets are provided by Helsinki Horse Show’s partner Back on Track.
”To my knowledge this is the first time when an equestrian show organizer raises the safety of staff members to a new level”, says the Chief Steward Pia “Piude” Myrskog. “Horses are unpredictable and top horses are sensitive, sometimes even jumpy. We can be very proud that Helsinki Horse Show is once again a pioneer in responsibility and safety”, states Myrskog, the originator of the project.
”Back on Track has been a Helsinki Horse Show partner since 2019”, says Krista Virtanen, Back on Track Country Manager. “We are looking forward to the event and we are proud that we can promote the safety of the stewards during their demanding work”, says Virtanen with satisfaction.
