Horse Show Kids Zone

There are activities in the Horse Show Kids Zone throughout the event

The area designed for children and teens is located at the bottom of the escalators at the south entrance. The Kids Zone hall offers plenty to see and do for all event visitors. The absolute highlight of the area is the OP Uusimaa Hobby Horse Arena, where open competition classes, Finnish Championship classes, and qualifying rounds for the Finnish Hobby Horse Championships will be held during the event.

The hobby horse arena, a favorite among children and teens, also features a drop-in program. Bring your own hobby horse or borrow one at the event and put your skills to the test.

The Kids Park event gives parents some time to themselves and provides fun activities for children.

Kids Park is a supervised children’s area where kids can play and participate in guided activities during the event, while their parents enjoy the rest of the event’s program.

The Kids Zone program is constantly being updated. More content will be published as new program content and events are confirmed.

The Horse Show Kids Zone is open Thursday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

What's Happening at the OP Uusimaa Hobby Horse Arena

The event features a dedicated hobby horse area for children and teens, set aside exclusively for their use. The area offers them the opportunity to move around, practice, and participate in hobby horse riding in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. The hobby horse area encourages creativity, a sense of community, and the joy of physical activity without the pressure to perform. Competitions are held at the OP Uusimaa Hobby Horse Arena, even at the level of the Finnish National Championships. In addition, there are classes at lower skill levels, as well as a dedicated arena for recreational hobby horse riding.

The arena will host several different hobby horse racing categories, where young athletes will have the chance to showcase their skills.

The classes will be judged by official judges from SKHH ry, and you can earn ranking points toward a spot in the Finnish Championships by competing in the Finnish Championships ring. Bring your hobby horse or a friend and come join the fun at Finland’s biggest horse event!

Registration begins in November, and the Finnish Hobby Horse Enthusiasts Association will also be there.
