The winners of the national Winter Cup series in dressage were determined at the final competition, the Hevosopisto Winter Dressage, in Ypäjä.
A spot in the Super Final was secured by Lassi Lehmusto, who was defending his previous victory, riding his Finnish horse Vekardo; Minion Verde, a crossbred pony that has advanced to the Intermediate level, and Anna Kärkkäinen; and Finnish champions Ville Vaurio and Dante NL.
The Super Final will also feature some of our country’s most successful age-group riders: young rider Venla Lahtinen and Tempelhünter, junior rider Armi Pietarinen and Lisbeth S, and the pony pair Aino Hallasaari and Fairytale Twilight.
They challenge the seniors at their own level, as all riders perform their level-specific freestyle routines in the Horse Show Super Final. And the horse-and-rider pair that receives the highest scores from the judges will be the winner of the 2026 Dressage Winter Cup Super Final!
This exciting competition will take place at the Messukeskus International Arena just before the event’s climax, the World Cup show jumping competition.
