A new and exciting season of the Show Jumping World Cup kicks off in just one week. We’ll have to wait another five months for the Helsinki leg, as the event has been moved to the spring starting this year. Our 40-year-old Helsinki World Cup competition will wrap up the highly competitive Western European League on March 4–7, 2027.
The stakes at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre are exceptionally high, as the season’s final league points and coveted places in the series final among the world’s elite are on the line. The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ qualifier in Helsinki will take place on Sunday, 7 March 2027. In addition to valuable league points, the class offers a total prize fund of €250,000 for the placed riders.
Steve Guerdat, who also won the world championship that summer, took home the title at the 2026 World Cup. Helsinki’s professional organization and high-quality facilities ensure that the world’s top show jumpers will come here to compete.

The sport’s biggest show jumping and dressage names are ready to captivate the crowd
This year’s Horse Show will also feature a unique dressage clinic led by Finnish equestrian legend Kyra Kyrklund and her student, Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour, the world’s No. 1 in dressage.
The 2026–2027 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Indoor Series consists of thirteen events across Europe. Helsinki is the northernmost event in the series, and Madrid is the southernmost. Riders can earn league points from a maximum of seven events. Finnish riders have six spots in Helsinki, and there is always one spot available for a Finnish rider at the other events.
The Versatile Helsinki Horse Show
For Finnish riders, the Horse Show also offers a wide range of classes across different levels, providing valuable opportunities to compete on home soil.
The renewed event features an extensive programme for the whole family, including the Horse Show Kids Zone, the expansive Horse Expo, and a diverse selection of restaurants and cafés, all accessible with an affordable Event Ticket. For those wishing to experience the excitement of top-level sport, a Show Ticket also grants access to the events taking place in the International Arena.
Ticket sales began in early September.
