Fazer Brings Its New “Aito” Products to the Market

Fazer, a Finnish classic, is participating in and making its presence felt at the Helsinki Horse Show in many ways. One of Finland’s most beloved companies is making a grand return as a partner of the 40-year-old equestrian event at Messukeskus.

“In this partnership, a high-profile event and Fazer’s product brands come together in a way that brings joy and memorable experiences to event guests of all ages as well as to the competitors,” says Joséphine Mickwitz, Head of Communications and Corporate Responsibility at the Fazer Group.

Visitors to the Helsinki Horse Show will have the chance to try Fazer Aito’s new plant-based products. The OP Uusimaa Hobby Horse Arena will feature, among other things, the revamped Fazer Aito Smooth yogurts. At the pony ride area, visitors can sample Froosh smoothies and Fazer Aito protein drinks.

International competitive riders and grooms will receive a warm welcome, as goody bags have been set aside just for them.

“It’s really great that one of our biggest domestic brands has partnered with the premier equestrian event. I’m especially pleased that they’re supporting a program that engages children and young people,” says Valtteri Gundersby, CEO of the Horse Show.

The story of this Finnish family business began back in 1891, when Karl Fazer opened his first pastry shop on Kluuvikatu in Helsinki. Today, Fazer is a modern, diversified food company that operates in eight countries and exports its products to more than 40 countries.
