Helsinki International Horse Show is placing a special focus this year on children’s and young people’s physical activity and an active lifestyle. The event offers inspiring and accessible ways to be active and to explore horse-related hobbies in a safe and encouraging environment.
At the event, children and young people have their own hobby horse area, providing space to move, practice, and enjoy the activity in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. At the OP Uusimaa Hobby Horse Arena, competitions are held all the way up to Finnish Championship qualifying level, and there are also lower-level classes as well as a dedicated arena for free hobby horsing.
This investment in children’s and young people’s physical activity supports well-being and helps build a positive relationship with exercise and horses. The overall initiative is made possible by the City of Helsinki, Messukeskus, OP Uusimaa, and Fazer.
