Helsinki International Horse Show started on Wednesday with full force. National combinations have qualified during the whole season for the culmination of the year, Helsinki Horse Show. It was an emotional day for the 180 riders and horses, as the five-star atmosphere and facilities gave the performances extra boost.

“This year we have gratifyingly many competitors this year. There has been a clear increase in the interest to compete in Helsinki, and not all had the opportunity to qualify”, tells the Amateur Tour organizer Pekka Larsen.

The national classes continue Thursday. The international riders start with the warmup this evening.
