Saturday evening ended with Pohjola Gold Grand Prix 2. qualifier Presented by Hevosurheilulehti. Finland’s Susanna Granroth on Black Friday continued their good weekend and rode to the victory. Eveliina Talvio and New Yorker T, who topped the 1. qualifier on Friday, placed second, and Maija Yli-Huhtala aboard Birchcape’s Wonderland completed the Finnish success by placing third.
“I’m happy with our performance, the horse felt great today. Now, after having jumped a couple of international classes here, we have gotten used to the narrow arena; there’s actually space for fast turns quite nicely. We are heading to the final with the victory in mind”, Granroth said after the competition.
