Steve Guerdat is one of the top riders participating in Helsinki Horse Show in October. He is one of the most successful riders in recent years and will be a tough competitor in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ qualifier.
Guerdat is in top form. He produced a clear round with Venard de Cerisy in the Longines FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona just last week to secure the Swiss a podium finish. He was also second in the Spruce Meadows Grand Prix in Calgary. Guerdat is one of the few riders who has a chance to claim a historic fourth Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Finals gold medal.
Guerdat has always done well in Helsinki. Before the corona pandemic he won the Land Rover Grand Prix and some years back the Longines FEI World Cup.
Guerdat competes in Helsinki from Friday to Sunday. The main classes are the Land Rover Grand Prix on Saturday at 14.30 and the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ at 165-level on Sunday at 14.00.
