Ireland’s Shane Breen aboard Scarteen delivered an amazing, fast round in 55,64 seconds and took the win in Friday evening’s Pohjola International 145 cm. The top three fit within one second but Breen managed to beat the reigning World Cup winner and World Champion Henrik von Eckermann on Calizi from Sweden who stopped the clocks on time 56,24. Third place went to Italian Lorenzo de Luca on Violino il Palazetto with time 56,58.

Home riders took yet another top spot with Noora Pentti and Con Caya placing sixth.

“It went really well, I’m very happy. I started first, which isn’t always easy, but luckily everything went according to plan and I’m super pleased”, Pentti said about her round.
