Marlon Modolo Zanotelli from Brazil rode Talina du Vivier to the victory in Friday evening’s International ADAMSBRO Speed class 140 cm. With an amazing round, they stopped the clocks on time 51.66, leaving a clear margin to the second placed Italian Alberto Zorzi on Stakalite. Home nation hero Jone Illi continued to dominate in Helsinki and took another spot at the top three, this time with Its me G.

The Brazilian loves coming to Helsinki and feels his weekend is off to a great start.
“I love the show here, it’s a fantastic show and a super organization. We always have a great show here, me and my wife so very happy to be back.”
“It was a quick lap, it was supposed to be quick, and my mare is naturally very quick. We had a good round from the beginning to the end and I think it’s an amazing feeling to do that round on the first day. You are never confident enough on a five star level and it’s always a risk if somebody can catch you. I knew it was quick enough round for what we wanted to do today – I didn’t want to do more than we did and I’m happy it was enough.”
Illi already scored a brilliant win in the opening class and enjoyed the course in the speed class as well.
“The course was really nice, though I could have got a bit more out of it myself and deliver an even better round. Tomorrow I will ride the 150 cm and 140 cm classes and then probably the 145 cm class on Sunday.”
