One of Finland’s longest lasting sporting events and largest annual equestrian events, the Helsinki International Horse Show, is organized on October 23-27th in the Helsinki Icehall for the last time. The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ offers 250 000 euros in prize money, and valuable World Cup points early in the Western European season.
Helsinki Horse Show hosts a large group of successful top riders. Among them are the Paris Olympic silver medalist and Longines Ranking runner-up Steve Guerdat, European champions and World Cup medalists Martin Fuchs, Peder Fredricson and Kevin Staut, Top-10 rider Max Kühner, World- and European Championship team gold medalist Jens Fredricson and Tokyo team bronze medalist and European Championship team gold medalist Pieter Devos.
Hamburg Grand Prix winner Yuri Mansuri, Longines Global Champions Tour highflyers Julien Anquetin and Andreas Schou, and experienced Hans-Dieter Dreher are in good shape.
Eleven of Helsinki’s international riders competed at the Paris Olympics. Many of them, such as Harrie Smolders, Katharina Rhomberg, Victoria Gulliksen and Eiken Sato, have already entered their Olympic horses in Helsinki.

The Finnish Team is young and upcoming with Aura Vasama, 21, the reigning Finnish Champion Pipsa Koski, 23, and Junior European Champion and Scandinavian Champion Jone Illi, 17, in the lead.
The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup starts at 2 PM local time (1 PM CET). The Helsinki Grand Trophy with a 100 000 euros prize money, is on Saturday at 2 PM (1 PM CET).
The next Helsinki International Horse Show will move to the Fair Centre on 25.2-1.3 2026.
