The winner praised the atmosphere in the arena and the courses designed by Guilherme Jorge.

“I’m feeling amazing! My horse has jumped clear rounds throughout the weekend, it’s a real superstar! The courses were challenging enough and the atmosphere in the Ice Hockey Hall amazing. It was great to see the crowd still staying to watch the last competition and give equal support to everyone”.

Faris Al-Dhahi, who lives in Belgium, enjoyed the feeling of riding in front of the Finnish crowd and said he would come to compete in Finland also next year.

“It felt good on the course today, my horse jumped great in the first round but we had that mistake in the jump-off. This is a new horse for me and we are just getting to know each other so I’m happy”.
