The 2026 Amateur Tour season has begun, and the series rules have been published. Now is the perfect time to sign up and set your sights on the Helsinki International Horse Show finals in the magnificent setting of Messukeskus. The <\/strong>exciting Top 10 Finals will be held <\/strong>next spring on a<\/strong> spectacular international stage<\/strong>! <\/p>\n\n

This popular show jumping series for recreational riders offers a clear goal, an encouraging atmosphere, and a wonderful opportunity to build on your successes throughout the competition season\u2014at your own level and at your own pace. Earn the required results in domestic competitions at the level of your choice, qualify for the semifinals, and aim for the culmination of the Amateur Tour: the finals at the international Helsinki Horse Show on March 4\u20137, 2027. <\/p>\n\n

The Amateur Tour features competition in three revised height classes: 80 cm, 90 cm, and 100 cm. The series is designed to inspire riders to succeed and improve, and above all, to provide a fair and motivating path toward the semifinals in Yp\u00e4j\u00e4 on February 12\u201314, 2027, and the finals in Helsinki. <\/p>\n\n

Registration for the series will take place as usual, and all amateur riders who meet the series requirements are welcome to participate.<\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

Checklist for the First Race of the Season<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    \n
  • Choose your height category (80\/90\/100 cm) and set goals for the season that work for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Make sure that you have a regional or higher-level competition license from the Equestrian Federation (SRL), have paid the annual horse fee, and meet all other eligibility requirements before your first races of the season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • More than one rider may compete in the qualifying competitions on the same horse or pony, and a rider may compete on more than one horse or pony and in more than one category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • National vaccination regulations apply to the Amateur Tour qualifying competitions; in the final, horses must be vaccinated and their temperatures must be taken in accordance with FEI rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All SRL club, regional, and national competition divisions will serve as qualifying divisions from April 1, 2026, to February 12, 2027.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The results of the qualifying competitions will be taken into account starting on April 1, 2026, even if the rider and horse register for the series at a later date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Registration is cheapest if completed by September 1, 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • SRL member stables can submit a group registration for a minimum of five riders and horses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Enjoy the journey, encourage others as well, and give your successes room to be seen and felt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Direct spots will be awarded in Solbacka and Yp\u00e4j\u00e4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    In each bonus class (80, 90, and 100 cm), the top rider-horse pair entered in the Amateur Tour series will, as an exception, receive a direct spot in their respective category in the Helsinki Horse Show finals.<\/p>\n\n
