Following a thrilling conclusion to the Longines League of Nations\u2122 2025 series earlier this month in which nations from Western Europe filled all three podium positions, all eyes now turn to the indoor season as the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup\u2122 takes centre stage. Thirteen events across Western Europe will provide athletes with the opportunity to qualify for this season\u2019s Final which will be hosted by Fort Worth, Texas (USA) from 08-12 April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each leg will see the top 16 Western European League placed athletes gain points in the 2025\/ 2026 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup\u2122 Western European League. The top 18 athletes from the Western European League after these 13 legs will qualify for the Final where they will be joined by leading athletes from eleven other leagues around the world and battle for the crown of Longines FEI Jumping World Cup\u2122 Champion. Defending Champion Julien Epaillard<\/strong> (FRA) has already secured his place in this season\u2019s Final in respect of his victory in Basel (SUI) last season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oslo (NOR) will host the first leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup\u2122 Western European League 2025\/2026 on 19 October. Athletes from 14 nations are set to line up in the series opener, including last season\u2019s Western European League topper Kevin Staut<\/strong> (FRA), who opens his 2025\/2026 campaign in Oslo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having finished on the podium in third place in last season\u2019s Final in Basel, the super-consistent Frenchman will have his sights set firmly on qualification and a chance to go two places better this time. He is joined in Oslo by compatriots Marc Dilasser<\/strong> and Nicolas Sers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Germany is represented in Oslo by the hugely exciting combination of Gerrit Nieberg<\/strong> and the eye-catching coloured gelding Ping Pong van de Lentamel and rising star Leonie B\u00f6ckmann<\/strong>. Western European based Brazilian athlete Yuri Mansur<\/strong> lines up in Oslo keen to capitalise on a successful 2024\/2025 campaign in which he posted some brilliant placings and just missed out on qualification for the Final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweden\u2019s Erika Lickhammer-van Helmond<\/strong> impressed in the series last season when producing double-clears and placings with her homebred mare \u2018I. Come Tessa VHL\u2019 and comes to Oslo to kick-start her season\u2019s campaign. Young stars Tani Joosten<\/strong> and Sanne Thijssen<\/strong> represent the Netherlands in Oslo whilst Jessica Burke<\/strong> makes a return to the series for Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switzerland is represented in Oslo by the experienced Barbara Schnieper<\/strong> and young star Ga\u00ebtan Joliat<\/strong>. Annelies Vorsselmans<\/strong> makes a return to the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup\u2122 Western European League after a successful campaign last season, and is joined in Oslo by fellow countryman Frederic Vernaet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following Oslo, the series moves south to Lyon (FRA) on Sunday 02 November before Verona (ITA) hosts leg three a week later on 09 November and Stuttgart hosts leg four on Sunday 16 November. A Coru\u00f1a (ESP) plays host to leg five on Sunday 07 December before the series jumps across the English Channel to London where Great Britain stages the sixth leg on Sunday 21 December. Mechelen (BEL) hosts the Final leg of 2025 as they play host to leg seven on Tuesday 30 December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basel stages the first qualifier of 2026 when staging the eighth leg of the 2025\/2026 season on Sunday 11 January 2026. The following week, the series moves to Germany as Leipzig stages leg nine on Sunday 18 January and Netherlands host leg ten in Amsterdam on Sunday 25 January. February opens with leg 11 in Bordeaux (FRA) on Saturday 07 February before heading north to Gothenburg (SWE) for the penultimate leg on Sunday 22 February. The last chance to gain points towards qualification for the 2025\/2026 series will be presented by Helsinki as the Finnish capital hosts leg 13 of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup\u2122 Western European League on Sunday 01 March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
