The Swiss star and the World No 1. Steve Guerdat took his second victory of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ season 2019/2020. The win in CSI-W Bordeaux came with his new fiery chestnut gelding Victorio Des Frotard, with which he also posted a superb win in Basel. Daniel Deusser and Jasmien v. Bisschop were runners-up and third Belgian Niels Bruynseels with Ilusionata van’t Meulenhof.


Guerdat is a regular and very popular rider in CSI-W 5* Helsinki Horse Show where he has won both the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ qualifier and the Grand Prix. The three-time Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ champion is again in superb form for the seasons final, the 2020 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Las Vegas, USA. Guerdat is bidding to become the first-ever rider to win four World Cup titles.

The Belgium based Finn Anna-Julia Kontio made her long expected come back in Bordeaux at the 5 star level. Kontio took a ribbon at the 150-level with her new mount Callas AH Z. Kontio last competed at the 5 star level in 2018 Helsinki Horse Show where she was 6th in the Grand Prix with Ornellaia.
