In recent years, Friday evening’s Fortum HorsePower International 145 cm has been successful for Swiss riders, and the streak continued also this year when Pius Schwizer on Balou Rubin R was fastest against the clock. With an amazing round in just 48.74 seconds they narrowly beat the second placed Olivier Robert and Eros from France who cleared the course in time 48.94. Dutch rider Henk van de Pol on Looyman Z placed third with time 49.00.

Balou Rubin R is a very fast horse, it’s incredible. It is very careful and spooky, good horse for the classes up to 155 cm but too careful for the GP level, Schwizer described his horse.

Schwizer has already won 40 competitions this year, which tells a little something about his talent and speed.
