Thursday 26 February – “Daniel’s Training System”

Anna von Wendt – Fiona
Anna has competed at international Grand Prix level and won the Finnish Championships in 2016 with Denzel and in 2020 with Sir Fashion. In addition, she has victories and placings in international competitions.

The mare Fiona is 8 years old (by Foundation, dam’s sire BH Hotline, second dam’s sire BH Don Romantic). She was bred by Anna von Staff-Reitzenstein and is owned by Björkboda Bruksgård.

Fiona came to Anna as a foal. At the time, no one imagined she would grow as big as a “Fionasaurus.” She has been competed sparingly at Medium B level.

Siiri Kyrö – Scarlett O’Limelight
Finnish Pony Championship gold medalist. Competes from young horse classes up to Grand Prix level.

She has represented the FWB studbook four times at the Young Horse World Championships. Siiri has multiple wins and strong results in the Finnish Quality Shows (Laatuarvostelu) and Breeders’ Prize competitions.

Scarlett O’Limelight is a 6-year-old FWB mare who has been with Siiri since late 2023. The mare won the 2025 5-year-old Derby and placed fourth in the Quality Show the previous year. Her pedigree is by Secret, dam’s sire BH Romanov, second dam’s sire BH Cavan. She was bred by Limelight Horses Oy & Anne Porevirta and is owned by Limelight Horses Oy.

Stella Hagelstam – Hagels Prince Nassak
Five-time Finnish Champion. Represented Finland twice at both the World Championships and European Championships between 2013 and 2022.

Hagels Prince Nassak is a 9-year-old horse representing Hagelstam’s own breeding program in the fifth generation (by Pin Rock’s Black Velvet, dam’s sire Fernet, second dam’s sire Havel). The breeder is Heidi Hagelstam and the owner is Passion for Dressage Oy. The horse competed at the Young Horse World Championships at ages 5 and 6 and is now beginning his Grand Prix career.

Ville Vaurio – Merry Francis
Three-time Finnish Champion (2023, 2024, 2025) and Nordic Champion (2023). He was also part of the European Championship team that same year. As an honorary mention, Ville notes that he won a silver medal in Shetland pony dressage championships in the early 2000s.

Merry Francis, known as “Kenttis,” is a 10-year-old FWB (by Pin Rock’s Black Velvet, dam’s sire Duendecillo P, second dam’s sire Roi du Ballet). The horse was bred by Kotalan Talli/Raisa Francis and is owned by Ville Vaurio Oy.

The pair also share an interest in eventing and have already completed one competition start. This year, they aim to participate at least in eventing training sessions and cross-country schooling.

Friday 27 February – Mini Clinic

Daniel will ride Ettan Ehrnrooth’s horse.

Heslegård’s Fürst Louis is a 10-year-old horse (by Fürstenball, out of Heslegård’s Luna, dam’s sire Heslegård’s Louis). He was bred by Heslegård Stutteri and is owned by Equiettan Ab.

Saturday 28 February – “Young Horses”

Siiri Kyrö – Scarlett O’Limelight

Kati Nuutinen – So Dazzling Diamond “Schnappi”
The 5-year-old Hanoverian mare won the 2025 Quality Show in the gaits category with a total score of 8.18. At Woikoski, she also won a qualifier of the 4-year-old Paccelli Cup with a score of 85.80%.

Her pedigree is by So Unique, dam’s sire Florencio, second dam’s sire Dormello. She was bred by Christina Pilger and is owned by Kati Nuutinen. Schnappi moved to Finland in June 2025.

Camilla Verkkoniemi – May Day’s Domino
Domino is a 6-year-old horse by Fasino, dam’s sire Quarz, second dam’s sire Cassini II.

Camilla is both the breeder and owner. The pair won the 5-year-old Cup final last summer. The previous year, Domino placed fifth in the Quality Show. In 2022, he won the Kyvyt Esiin gait final with an average score of 8.97.
