This year’s dressage program started on Friday afternoon with International Grand Prix Dressage. Emma Kanerva and Dambacu NI continued Finnish riders’ great day and took the win with the result 71,85%.

This is my first time here in Helsinki and I was really excited to ride in Finland again but also a bit nervous. I’m really happy with our performance today especially because I’ve only had Dambacu NI for a year and this is his first season on GP level. So far this is our best score and the horse was really working with me today. He was a bit spooky on the short sides but trot, changes and sicksacks went great, Kanerva commented after her performance.

Tomorrow is a new day and though our freestyle is quite difficult, the horse is technically good. So, if he works well with me, we have chances to get high scores, Kanerva said about tomorrow.
