Many riders will be looking for the last World Cup points in Helsinki to qualify for the prestigious final, and those who have redeemed their tickets will be found out immediately after the Longines FEI World Cup.

“The public will once again have the opportunity to see the world’s top riders competing in Helsinki,” says the CEO Valtteri Gundersby.

The international class have been designed together with world champion Henrik von Eckermann to serve and attract top riders. Two new 1* show jumping lines will be added to the international competition, which are aimed at the domestic top level, without forgetting age-group riders. This will give domestic riders a chance to compete against the best riders. The international 1* classes will be aligned with Gothenburg, so that young horses of international riders can compete two weekends in a row.

Dressage is competed at international and national level. On Thursday, extended clinics of 1-1.5 hours in show jumping and dressage will be held in accordance with the wishes of the audience. Multiple medalist of prestigious competitions, the Dane Daniel Bachmann-Andersen will be holding the dressage clinic. The trainer for the show jumping clinic will be found out later. Shorter mini-clinics will continue as usual on other days.

The national series competitions will once again end with the Horse Show, this time with the Pohjola Vakuutus Road to Helsinki series, which will be held during the winter. The new indoor competitions have ensured that domestic riders have enough time to prepare for the top event in the spring. The popular Amateur Tour is already underway, and the first direct bonus places to Helsinki have been awarded in the Solbacka Summer Games competition.

“In addition to the national series and the Amateur Tour, the national arena program also includes a lot of other programs. There are various sport presentations and show programs.”

“The program is designed to serve both dedicated horse lovers and families who are interested in horses and are coming to the event for the first time. Overall, there is so much to see and experience that you won’t have time to experience everything in one day.”
