Steve Guerdat, number two in the Longines Rankings, was the fastest on the course in the International 145 cm presented by Fortum HorsePower on Friday evening. The competition was tight but Guerdat and Venard de Cerisy managed to make an amazing round in 52,28 seconds and took the win before the second placed Daniel Deusser on Cornet d’Amour.

– It felt good today and I’m happy with our performance. It’s always nice to win a big class and the horse did really well today. This is the kind of course where you need to go really fast and today I succeeded, Guerdat commented quickly before heading to prepare for the next class.

Philipp Weishaupt on Solitaer complemented German success placing third with time 53,04.
