The 32nd edition of the Helsinki Horse Show is over. The annual top event, biggest of all sports in Finland, produced once again super top sport and great entertainment.
The second leg of the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping was as thrilling as ever. Olympic Course Designer from Rio, Guilherme Jorge, made a welcomed comeback in Helsinki and let nobody disappointed. As Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum stated, "Gui Jorge is one of the best Course Designers in the world, I just love his courses".
Jorge´s challenging course on Sunday produced however well over 10 clear rounds. "This just proves how amazing the standard of top riders and horses is nowadays", says Jorge.
The big crowd of more than 7.000 spectators were delighted to have a popular winner. Swiss rider Romain Douguet repeated his victory from last year, reaching now his second win in the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping series.
Close to 46.000 spectators enjoyed the 4-day show where ultimate top sport meets light entertainment in a wonderful and exciting mix. The 5* Helsinki event gallops straight towards October 2017, being one of the main events of the Finland 100 years celebrations.
